Devon Vallances

As with most family trees, it was started out of curiosity, my father believed he was the youngest son of a long line of youngest sons, also he wanted to know the meaning of his father's middle name which was "Border". In time I dispelled the first and answered the second, which you will be able to read about within the pages of this site.

As I started to collect Vallance data from telephone contact, churchyards, parish records, IGI & census returns, I became aware that this could be bigger than I imagined, I made up my mind to collect all the names I could and see how far the tree could spread.

Early on after seeing the potential size and depth of the tree, I set myself a goal to find as many different Vallances of race and creed. I have done quite well.

If within the pages of this site you find you have additional information, even better new names to add to the tree, please complete the form and e-mail it to me.
